This etching was first published in 1939 in the Suite Vollard, both in a large size of edition 50 and a smaller size, edition 260.

In 1990 the Staadsmuseum, Mulheim, Germany published a final authorized edition of 300, with the permission of the Picasso family. This series has been printed on the same quality paper used for the 1939 etches and is provided with a numbered certificate of authenticity, bearing a stamp of the Picasso foundation.
